I was bequeathed a Macintosh SE at work today and decided to take it home. Our sysadmin had it in his office and surprisingly didn't need it anymore so I decided to take care of it for him. Now the fun part is going to be figuring out what to do with it.
- Load up Mac OS 7.5
- Fit a Rasberry Pi or similar board inside it and swap out the screen for a fun DIY project.
- Make it a fish bowl.
The hard part is going to be taking it apart without breaking any of the hardware inside or the outside shell. I'm going to try and keep it as whole as possible during the whole project.
Got any other ideas?
My current computer is on the right if you can't tell.
